Alcoholic Drink Recipes: New Healthy Cocktails

000
Alcoholic drinks tend not to be on the recommended list of most healthy diets. Nutritionally, they don’t give you much, but let’s be honest: if you are living on a healthy diet and exercising and sleeping well and working and taking care of the kids and everything else we all do everyday, you deserve to have a drink when you go out with your friends, on a date or just stay happily in for the night!
To help you make your drinks healthier, we have 4 New Healthy Cocktails specially designed for you!

001
QUASI JITO
Yes, this is a healthy Mojito. It is astonishing how much sugar cocktails sometimes have. In this version, the sugar is cut right out (except for decoration and that is optional), helping you stay in line.
Ingredients:
Three or Four Mint Leaves
Lime Wedge Juice (⅛ Lime)
1 oz. White Rum
Diet Lemon-Lime Soda
Ice
Sugar for decoration (optional)

Jumble the white rum, mint leaves and lime wedge juice. The mint leaves need to be bruised to release their greatness while staying whole. You can use a mortar or anything that’s handy.
To decorate, rub the lime wedge (or what is left of it) on the rim of the glass and dip it in sugar on a shallow plate. Pour the mix into the glass, fill with crushed ice and add the diet soda.
Relax and enjoy!

DYNAMIC VODKA LEMONADE
This is so easy to make, there are barely any instructions.
You’ll need:
Once Cucumber
Two Celery Stalks
1 Head of Romaine Lettuce
1 Lemon
1 Small Piece of Fresh Ginger
2 Green Apples
Vodka
Blend everything together, except the vodka. Once it is all nice and smooth, add Vodka to taste. Fresh, full of nutrients and delicious!

003
INSTANT RASPBERRY LEMONADE MARTINI COCKTAIL
We’ll use:
1 Shot of Vodka
1 Shot Triple Sec
Raspberry Lemonade (Tropicana Trop50 is our favorite)
Ice
Twist of Lemon
Shake it baby, shake it all and then pour it in a martini glass.
To garnish, add a lemon twist. Done!

004
GIN MARTINI WITH BOTANICAL ICE
Gin has less calories than wine or beer, making it perfect for a healthy cocktail
We’ll need:
Dry Vermouth (a dash)
2 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
Ice (regular)
Botanical Ice Cube

Do you know how to make a botanical ice cube? well, it is pretty simple!
Blend:
2 English Cucumbers (in pieces, with seeds and peel)
1 oz. Cilantro seeds
1 cup Simple Syrup
Once it is all pureed, grab a fine sieve and strain it into a mold for ice cubes. Freeze.

To prepare the cocktail: in a strainer, unite the vermouth, gin and ice. In a martini glass, place  botanical ice cube and strain the mix into it.
To garnish, you can add a ring of frozen cucumber wheels inside the glass.
